Our Mission Statement
The mission of the City of Burlington Police Division is to ensure the best quality of life for our citizens through partnerships with the community, enforcement of the law, and the provision of a safe environment. We will act professionally, and ensure that all officers conduct themselves with the highest level of moral and ethical standards.
Straight to Treatment
It is a program created to help those that are caught in the powerful grip of addiction and substance abuse – but would like to break free – with the opportunity to be connected to a program to assist them with overcoming their addiction. You do NOT need insurance to participate.
Volunteers of America Delaware Valley (VOADV) is a local affiliate of national, non-profit organization, Volunteers of America, and provides essential services to our community’s most vulnerable individuals. Each year, we serve more than 13,000 individuals throughout the southern New Jersey and Philadelphia region and operates more than 40 high quality, outcome-driven assistance programs – from homelessness, reentry, veteran’s assistance and affordable housing services to specialized programs for individuals with addiction, traumatic brain injury and/or intellectual disabilities.

PRESS RELEASE Accreditation Assessment Team Invites Public Comment A team of assessors from the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police (NJSACOP) on Monday, March 25, 2024, will examine all aspects of the City of Burlington Police Department policies and procedures, management, operations, and support services Chief John Fine announced today. Anyone wishing to offer written comments about the City of Burlington Police Department’s ability to comply with the standards for accreditation is requested to email the Accreditation Program Director at hdelgado@njsacop.org or write the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police, Law Enforcement Accreditation Commission at 751 Route 73 North, Suite 12 Marlton, N.J. 08053.

PUBLIC HEARING ANNOUNCEMENT for John F. Kennedy Park Improvement Project, Jakes’ Law Inclusive Playground, to be held at City Hall, Tue., Feb. 6, at 7 pm The City of Burlington is seeking funding through the State of New Jersey Green Acres Program for improvements at John F. Kennedy Park, located at 560 Wood Street, Burlington City, NJ 08016, near the intersection of Wood Street and Route 130 South. The City of Burlington proposes to create the following new facilities at John F. Kennedy Park: an inclusive Jake’s Law Playground. A concept plan showing the proposed changes, a preliminary cost estimate, and an environmental impact assessment for the project can be found at: https://www.burlingtonnj.us/newsdetail_T3_R1680.php.
